General ACFT Mechanic II/ NDI level II, UT,ET,PT

Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:

General Acft Mechanic II and NDI UT,ET, and PT inspector level II on ACFT, ACFT parts and components.Over 8 years performing hourly,daily, PMS,PMD,monthly and Phase and NDT inspections on Apache and Black Hawk helicopters, in order to maintain the Acft in our fleet of 30 to be in their best condition to complete their mission,also trained on OH58 and CH47 ACFT. My work includes but is not limited to disassemble, inspect, repair,replacement and overhaul of Acft and ACFT parts such as:Gearboxes,transmissions,M/R and T/R assemblies,flight controls, elastomeric mounts,bearing and bushing replacement and reaming,plain and carbon seals inspection and replacement,lube pumps,engine components.Engine scheduled inspections, bore scope,engine parts repair and replacement,engine flushes,APU inspections,servicing and maintenance.Drive shafts and flight controls rigging,adjustments.Hydraulics system inspections,repair,servicing,replacement,hydraulic lines fabricating,manifolds and servos,hydraulic pumps,etc.Main and tail landing gear repair,servicing with fluid and nitrogen,wheel and tire assemblies,shock struts. Sheet metal repair of panels and ACFT structural components: longerons,stringers, intercoastals,hardware,windshields and windows,pilot and crew doors,mounts,severance devices,riveting and parts fabricating,composite materials repair and replacement,main and tail rotor blades inspection,repair,weighing and balancing,painting. Acft preflight and maintenance operational checks and tests, Acft launching. Confined spaces inspections

and repairs.Shops special tools use such as torque wrenches, micrometers,dial indicators,calipers,Acft special tools,arbor presses,etc.Electrical wires and harnesses continuity and resistance tests,wires and electrical parts replacement,relocation,cockpit instruments checks and replacement. Nondestructive inspections in Ultrasonic,Eddy current and Fluorecsent penetrant methods,some Magnetic particle inspections.All work is performed in accordance with Acft specific technical,service and NDT manuals.As a NDI inspector I am certified as NDT Level II according NAS-410 and SNT-TC-1A. Which are the National Aerospace Standard and American Society for Non Destructive Testing Standard.As a Mech II assist other mechanics in there ACFT work,advise and supervise new and unexperienced personnel,perform ACFT towing crew lead,assist the lead mechanic and take over his tasks in his absence,etc. So far in my 8 year Aviation carrier I have no incidents or accidents related to my work experience.Also I am very familiar with Acft general and specific technical manuals,IETMs,FED-Log,logbooks,understanding Acft schematics,drawings and blueprints.
