Objective: Find employment in manufacturing and/or MIG/TIG welding.

I attended Boscobel High School but obtained my GED through South West Technical College.

Skills and Abilities

1 year experience with both MIG and TIG welding.

Can easily navigate touch screen computer interfaces for machine ops

Have trained 15 + people to operate at least 5 different machines

Excel at getting the job done with no supervision, but also enjoy team efforts

Learn quickly how different departments work, interact and rely on the other, so I can contribute anywhere and increase production in any and every way I can

Broke company record mufflers welded in an eight hour shift, welded 433 muffler in 8 hours without any leakers. Average night would be 300-325

Have used hoists in small crowded areas, moving muffler from the line to pallets and larger hoists in warehouse to hall 14-16 ft. bar and pipe with a diameter of 13-15in from one end of the warehouse to the other.

I have a good understanding of how to find a common ground with many different people and spreading respect, enthusiasm and positive energy to meet and surpass a production goal/goals with a team of enthusiastic employees, “Teamwork makes a dream work”

Experience

I helped run a muffler assembly line for a year where I MIG welded all day long. I TIG welded bad or cracked robot welds while on the line or in the shack, where leaking mufflers were fixed. At another op, I would add new jobs and remakes in the TLA. I was an employee responsible & trusted to make 3 zones of production come together and kept the shift supervisor, SCR final line supervisor and team coordinator updated on : downtime, machine ops that were not being fed fast enough, jobs I had moved on the TLA and why, rejected bodies that would be coming down, remakes I ordered from inlet/outlet department. Otherwise I was responsible to notice problems immediately and radioing maintenance to either guide me to the solution or to come fix it themselves. I watched and listened to as much as I could from the electricians and robot techs because I like being self sufficient and fixing the problem myself. In a nut shell I was surrounded by the heart of Final Line, three robotic zones that fed the line, and was relied upon to keep the line full, know all the tricks for each op and robot, multitask and micromanage each cell, all while I was welding and patch welding, completely unsupervised. Before I was assigned to this job I ran every machine op in zone 1, 2, 3 and 4. I also air tested mufflers and put the electrical components on the muffler.
