PROJECT SUMMARY:

SECOND YEAR PROJECT

Title: UNINTERRUPTED POWER SUPPLY.

Description:

Many of the critical applications are required to have a continuous supply of power for their proper working.

By using a re-chargeable battery power bank this can be achieved.

Two stages of operations are provided in our project which includes a direct supply of power from mains and charging the battery, and then the power is supplied by battery when the main fails to obtain the operation of ON-LINE UPS.

Blocks include battery bank, rectifier, inverter, main static switch, UPS-static switch.

THIRD YEAR PROJECT

Title: AUTOMATED WATER LEVEL DETECTION AND CONTROL SYSTEM.

Description:

The purpose of our project is to remove any operator based error by eliminating any human interaction in the cycle however manual override is provided in case of component failure.

By the use of short circuit concept the levels are divided into 3 levels and their transistorized bridge output is amplified and fed to microcontroller to control the motor pump.

Final Year Project:

Title: AUTOMATIVE RAILWAY ACCIDENT PREVENTION USING IR SENSORS

Description:

A automated system designed to improve the quality and precision in the information provided to the motorman regarding the unnecessary crossing of the pupils on railway tracks and pattucks.

By using the concept of collision detection, IR transmitters and reflectors are installed at predefined locations on the tracks.

IR receivers are placed on the locomotive itself. The distance from each reflectors and locomotives is calculated by the system as the locomotive advances on its route.

If an un-identified pupil obstructs the path of the sensors then this information will be procured to the motorman and his location will be identified thereby causing a halt to the locomotive.
