American Elevator Corporation performs maintenance, repair, modernization and elevator installations on commercial and residential elevator projects and Abilita provids telecommunication and internet consulting. Serving as President/CEO of both companies it was my responsibility for the day-to-day budgetary and profit/loss operations of the company. I previously served as a Senior Program Manager in a national wireless internet company and oversaw the national rollout of the wireless system in national airports and convention centers. I also served in a project Management/Engineer capacity on multi-million dollar projects.

American Elevator Corporation, Bellevue, WA 2009-2014

Majority Shareholder/President/CEO:

I guided a 2.6 million dollar elevator company with 16 employees that included a management team of 5 people. I led the corporation through the change of ownership transition and the severe 2008-2009 economic downturn. I developed plans and procedures to meet the business and project challenges of the changing economic situation ensuring successful completion of all installation and repair projects in the public, on military bases, and in the private sectors. Projects included elevator installations at Fort Lewis, WA and at the Naval Air Station on Whidbey Island. I had direct oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, contracting, and payroll verification.

Abilita of Beaverton, OR 2002-2009

President/CEO

Established and guided a telecommunication firm in the Portland, Oregon tri-county region providing project management and evaluation level services to midsize companies. I developed plans and procedures to meet the business and project challenges of the changing economic situation ensuring successful optimization of telecommunication, wireless voice and data, and data network services. I served on the Board of Directors of Abilita corporate for two year providing guidance and support for the Abilita telecommunication franchise network.

METRICOM, INC., San Jose, California 2000-2002

Senior Program Manager

I established cross-functional teams coordinating access to United States national airports and convention centers for establishment of the broadband MCDN (Metricom's Ricochet micro cell system architecture). Responsibilities included corporate executive team project reporting, oversight, and contract management of 46 cities across the United States. I directed the establishment of a special projects multi-disciplined team formed to resolve several equipment issues for national airports and convention centers. I led the development of project tracking software to replace reporting systems that were successfully evaluated and implemented.

VIRTUAL CORPORATION CONSULTING, Beaverton, Oregon 1998-2000

Y2K Project Lead

I provided leadership for the establishment of the Y2K site recovery plan for Nike in their Beaverton and Tigard Oregon manufacturing facilities. I led the development of the Y2K mitigation strategy and contingency plans for Nike Beaverton and Tigard, Oregon manufacturing facilities and conducted table top exercise to ensure plans validity. These included inventory, assessment, mitigation, emergency response, continuity, and recovery plans.

1996-1998

Project Engineer/Manager

I was contracted to help build the Komatsu microchip wafer fabrication facility in Hillsboro, Oregon. Although business relationships were unique because of cultural differences between Americans and Japanese contractors I was able to direct a system team with contract management responsibilities including budgeting, contracting, bidding, scheduling, estimating, responsibilities and problem resolutions, resulting in successful completion of Life Safety and Telecom systems.

Construction Manager

I directed the system installation and construction management of the Electrical and Life Safety Systems in a 1 million square foot, 2 billion dollar Intel Microchip Fabrication Facility in New Mexico and a 700 million dollar facility in Hillsboro, Oregon.

As Operations manager, I provided data analysis of ongoing projects and recommended project corrections while also serving as an active member of an analog design and presentation team. I conducted program oversights and found over $300,000 deficit in project billing.

Software Test/Development and Acceptance Flight Test Engineer

I was a Software Test/Development and Avionics Flight Test Engineer on the B-I B strategic bomber program. Responsibilities of Software test/development included the TPS development of software and hardware for ATE testing of the electronic systems. The responsibilities as an Flight Test Engineer were the test procedure development, testing and troubleshooting of the RF/Avionics Systems, which included the Central Air Data & Flight Director Computer Systems, Visual Situation Displays, along with UHF, HF, and Satellite communication systems. Various testing tools were utilized to assist in the verification of the B-1 B's avionics systems including the utilization of spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and multifunction meters.
