OBJECTIVE:

Seeking a full time management opportunity where I can contribute my knowledge in the business administration/ human resource department with excellent organizational, problem solving and leadership skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of Human Resource/ Office Management experience in very large corporate office of over 150 employees.

Efficient in background/ drug screening checks and application and termination processes

Proven ability to learn quickly as well as thrive in a busy environment

Strong writing skill, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Great Plains Accounting System.

Manages day to day operations of administrative staff to ensure billing and accounting department have the support they need to ensure delivery of customer and vendor satisfaction.

Oversee all new hire and termination paperwork, questions, and concerns.

EXPERIENCE:

HR/Office Manager- Firetrol Protection Systems March 2008- Present

Oversee day to day operations of all administrative roles for Houston, Beaumont, Corpus, and La Porte office

In charge of writing Impress checks, hand out of petty cash weekly and send balances to corporate office

Liaison between District General Manager and Operations manager to ensure proper lines of communication are addressed and assure that any issue requiring immediate attention are resolved.

Collaborate w/ other departments to insure billings are properly handled on the day to day

Maintaining Human Resources- related employee files reflecting salary increases, deduction, benefits, payroll exceptions, W-2 withholdings, all the while exercising a high level of confidentiality.

Skilled in interviewing process, hiring, training, and evaluation of employees to make sure they will succeed in their position.

Follow through in a timely manner to see that all financials are accurate at month end closing.
