Pre-combustion CO2 Capture from Biogas by Amine Treating During my undergraduate degree, I worked on a biogas purification process project. Project team observed the different fractions of CO2 removed with varying amounts of amine solution and finally found the most economic amount of amine per ft3 of biogas. Project also included designing of Process equipment like Amine gas absorber and heat exchanger.

Design Study of Platforming of Naphtha

It was final year project for undergraduate degree. Project objectives were Design study of process, its optimization and designing of different process equipment i.e Heat Exchanger, stabilizer, Partial Condenser, Finned Tube Air Cooler and Phase Separator. Project also included material and energy balances, HAZOP study of the Process Equipment and cost estimation. In addition, we proposed a special combination of water and air coolers to cool the reactor effluent to ambient temperature in more economical way by saving cooling water cost.
