AW North Carolina Automatic Transmission Supplier Durham, NC

AW North Carolina is the first offshore production facility for Aisin AW Ltd of Anjo, Japan, the largest producer of Automotive Automatic Transmissions in the world. AW North Carolina provides Automatic Transmissions and Transmission Components exclusively for Toyota Motor Corporation. AW North Carolina sales exceed $1 Billion with a workforce of 2000 members.

Production Control Assistant General Manager 2013-January 2015

Responsible for leadership development for departmental Assistant Managers and PC production floor Group Leaders. Responsible for long term planning for customer production part order planning, internal production plan scheduling and new project introductions.

Successfully led and achieved off-site warehouse and distribution system to support AW North Carolina with Japan parts and raw materials delivered directly from the Norfolk port.

Responsible for salaried members to create domestic and Japan supplier part ordering plans. Also responsible for internal production scheduling and customer shipments.

Led and assisted in Production Control departmental planning for internal and external preparation to support company’s first fully assembled Rear Wheel Drive Automatic Transmission production lines including new parts introduction and part storage and part delivery concepts.

Performed a complete review of the Total Global Logistics System and implemented innovative changes that created cost effective and scalable systems that are still in place.

Production Control Planner/Packaging Specialist 2002-2004

Responsible for AT Component Production Planning and Finished Good inventory control and internal domestic and Japan purchase part packaging design for suppliers and Toyota customer facilities.

Planned and managed with only 1.0 days of customer finished good AT Component inventory.
