Recruited internally, with team leader responsibility, to stabilize the portfolio, coach an inexperienced team of bankers and underwriters, and generate quality business banking relationships.

• Stabilized an improperly serviced middle market credit portfolio exceeding 50 relationships that was declining.

• Coached an inexperienced staff of bankers and underwriters and retained the top 30% of the client base.

• Chairman’s office commendation for implementing an identity theft mitigation program( ahead of its time). FIRST VICE PRESIDENT – MANAGED ASSETS DIVISION (1996 2003) Managed portfolio of 25+ problem credits with individual business credit exposure up to $125M. Worked with US Attorney and Federal district court to successfully obtain a bank fraud conviction with a prison term.
