Electrical Engineer: 2000-2011

System Engineer for PENNANTRACE, aservice based VHF/UHF receiver sensor. Developed C++ client-server class library and application interface software to allow customer application interfacing for command and control and data acquisition. Specified COTS hardware components for sensor. Performed 7 week deployment to war zone for field calibration of 4 UASF Liberty and USA MARSS aircraft.

System Engineer for a real time Signal Processing and Direction Finding systems. Mr. Anspach has performed many market surveys for modern DF COTS systems to respond to Quick Reaction 2

deployment requests. Additionally, Mr. Anspach has also specified a VHF/UHF DF and collection system and narrow-band and wide-band signal processing system and its hardware platform for mobile and airborne use considering performance as well as size, weight and power. SETA responsibilities have included contributing to requirements and specification of single board VME based VHF/UHF fast tune dual receiver as well as participate in customers first article acceptance testing to ensure receiver performs to specification, as well as validating general receiver performance. Lead System Engineering responsibilities have included moving customers projects forward from legacy hardware and software baseline architecture to a modern, more capable, hardware and software signal-processing platform to extend the life of the program, ease future development and integration efforts, and reduce maintenance costs.

Lead Software Engineering responsibilities have included leading the effort of porting all real time signal-processing software to next generation platforms. In support of this effort Mr. Anspach developed and implemented a design for the next generation platform signal processing software architecture. Hardware Engineering responsibilities have included design and development of a CompactPCI baseboard including all board level digital circuitry and schematic design, component selection and layout and VHDL code development for on board programmable logic. Mr. Anspach also developed a software device driver for the baseboard and command and control interface software for use with system controller. Mr. Anspach was responsible to create all design and interface documentation, and see board through manufacture, test and system integration.

Field Integration and Test Engineer responsibilities have included integrating VHF/UHF collection, Angle of Arrival Direction Finding and precision Time Difference of Arrival systems into airborne and ground mobile platforms. Perform phase and amplitude delay measurements as well as delay measurements for platform calibration. Participate in calibration and verification sorties on board target USAF Liberty and USA MARSS airborne platforms. Verify and validate data. Additional tasks included development of a real time command scheduler and parser for a TMS320C31 Digital Signal Processor to control synchronization and tuning of Digital Drop Receivers. Mr. Anspach was also responsible for developing additional command an control capabilities such as dynamic receiver channel management and allocation for Raceway and RACE++ data routing. Embedded Systems Design Inc.: Hanover Maryland
