Description:

As a Shipper/Receiver, my specific job duties included taking products out of there containers, setting all the products onto my workstation, picking out a cardboard box that exactly fits the products, place the products into the cardboard box, use the tape gun to tape the box on all sides, weigh the box on the weight meter while writing the weight number onto the sheet that came along with the products, and eventually setting the box onto the roller for the shippers to label and place on a rack. Other duties include putting the boxes into their designated freight (UPS, FedEx, LoneStar), throwing out trash from the garbage cans, sweeping the floors of the workplace, keeping workstation clean while refilling the bottom half with new cardboard boxes for future packaging, and organizing racks while taking the used pallets out to the back of the warehouse.
