Owner Manager

Built the restaurant from concept to close, including the facility design and build-out. Secured needed start-up

funding. Managed all aspects of the business, including food and beverage service, human resources,

entertainment, marketing and budgeting.

Ongoing management responsibilities included menu and wine selections, staff training and scheduling,

inventory and quality control, profitability and cash flow management, securing and managing live musicians,

marketing and social media posting, servicing as liaison to Health Department as needed.

School of the Wise, Victoria MN, 2005-2007

Developed the restaurant concept, secured start-up funding, managed property design and build-out. This

restaurant became the catalyst for The School II Bistro and Wine Bar highlighted above.

Arizonas, Shakopee MN, 2003-2005

Hired to take over all restaurant management responsibilities soon after the business was opened when

principals realized they lacked restaurant expertise. This restaurant was ready to be closed by the Minnesota

Department of Health. I sent in motion new guidelines to turn this business around in cleanliness as well as

financially. We became one of the best music venues in the twin cities as well as a highly respected food venue.

Quality Wine and Spirits, 2001-2003

Sold wine and high-end spirits to some of the finest restaurants in the Twin Cities.

Created wine lists for new restaurants and established venues.

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Ann Clifford and my goal is to become a leasing/manager for

rental properties.

I have spent the last 20 years in the restaurant business as either management or as an owner working

manager. I loved what I did. My goal was to always have people feel as if they were invited into my home as

a guest to become friends in my home. I achieved that goal. People loved what I did.

Time to start a new career!

I have always wanted to do real estate. I love the idea of inviting people into what could be their new home

and having them see the endless possibilities. Having visualize their guests in a warm inviting new space. It's

very exciting to help others created this environment.
