Major Responsibilities:

Production & Planning for Ferro-Alloys (5-Ton Submerged Arc Furnace) and Steel Melt shop

(12 and 15-Ton Induction Furnace).

Scrap Handling and Blending and also the Inspection of other raw materials used for the production process of both Ferro-Alloys and Steel grades.

Calculations for making Batch for the production of Silico-Manganese alloys and Steel grades i.e. Grade-40, G-60,G-43A, AISI-1035.

Inspection of the Steel Billets defects and Steel bars.

Mechanical (Destructive) testing of steel bars using Universal testing machine (UTM).

Hardness of steel samples using Rockwell & Brinell hardness testing machine.

Thermo-Mechanical Treatment (TMT) for steel bar Rolling process. Page 2/2

Spectroscopic analysis of steel samples

Inspection of refractory lining of both the Furnace and Ladle.

Controlling of the furnace parameters of Submerged Arc Furnace during the production.
