Inventory & Warehouse Manager

Responsible for the two storeroom facilities on site (one above ground and one below ground). Handle all MRP (through SAP) for all established MRO part numbers as well as the purchasing of all products, including those not in SAP.

Re-modeled and re-organized topside storeroom to establish controlled environment for key MRO items, including establishing procedures for the storing, ordering, receiving, and disbursement of these items.

Responsible for the distribution of finished goods inventory between three manufacturing plants and six distribution centers with the objective of minimizing freight costs while maintaining adequate fill rate for customer orders.

• Saved over $400,000 annually in freight savings in 2006 ($10 million spend), through rationalization of transport lanes/methods.

Accountable for cost of inventory in the distribution centers and working with the distribution centers to work through issues such as slow moving and aged inventory and developing inventory management programs designed to meet organizational financial objectives.
