1. 2 weeks of training at Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd, Mangalore, Karnataka, Jul 2013 on basics of instrumentation and the use of it in industries. 2. 1 Month training on PLC and DCS in Prolific Technology Bangalore, June 2014 3. 4 weeks training at Badische Anilin- und Soda-Fabrik, Mangalore, Jul 2014 in hands on practice on the instruments that are used in there.

4. 7 weeks training on PLC, DCS Safety DCS, Field bus, HART and industrial instruments at yokogawa India limited on DCS and field instrumentation.

ACADAMIC PROJECTS:

Project 1: Water tank filling system using Allen Bradley PLC and wonderware SCADA software Description:

In this project using Allen Bradley PLC the flow in to the 3 tanks is been controlled. The Contact type level switch is used to maintain the level which gives the signal to the PLC and PLC controls the level. The working is that the once the first tank gets filled the valves get automatically changed and the second tank fills. Same continues with the third tank also. The SCADA software gives the same arrangement as in the field in the Computer. This project can be used in cites to control the flow the water. Project 2: Recipe management in chocolate industry using wonderware SCADA Software Description:

This project majorly deals with giving proper amount of raw materials in to the process while manufacturing the chocolate products. For preparing the chocolate products a proper percentage of the products must be added. Hence the proper recipe is given in the SCADA software which sends the signal to PLC or DCS depending upon the industry. The need for the project is recipe management is used in all the automated process industries.

Project 3: Smart Street Lighting Using Arduino microcontroller. Description:

The project deals smart street lighting system using arduino microcontroller. In the night whenever there is no activity like vehicles, pedestrian’s motion on the street the light will be dim. The IR sensor and photodiode is used to sense the motion which gives the signal to the arduino which is previously codes sends the signal to the lights to get dim or dip. The need for the project is energy, reduction in emission of co2, reduction in maintenance cost.

Project 4: Object Reorganization and sorting with help of robot arm using Lab VIEW Image processing and Arduino Microcontroller.

Description:

In this project the small objects like nut, bolts, screws etc. as to be detected and then they are sorted by placing them in the specified place. At first the objects are detected by ultrasound sensor which gives commands to the motor to stop. Then the LabVIEW image processing technique is used to recognize the object then finally the robot arm is used to sort the object. The need of the project is in the various industries to sort the objects automatically or manually without using more manpower. SKILLS:
