• Main activities and responsibilities Junior Project engineer (assistant), development of small hydroelectric powerplants. Next to this main rule, I’m training and working in the COE team in any activity required, supervised by Roberto Troiani, Matteo Vicentini, Giuseppe Cutano and Pierpaolo Macciacchera. Theoretical studies and practical examples on hydrology and hydraulics, learning software, data processing; With colleagues I give my contribution to many manuals (flood flow estimation, forebay, penstock, settling basin, open channels). Investigated a variety of topics, including:

- Rainfall analysis and hydrometrics, transposition of rainfall and discharge, regionalization of rainfall and flood flows.

- Production estimation of hydroelectric power plants, also with reservoir models.

- Scouting and research potential areas for HEPP.

- Watershed continue modeling to assess flow availability through HEC-HMS (also with new Soil Moisture Accounting method).

- Sizing and hydro design of typical hydraulic works in HEPPs (Dam, weirs, gates, channels, tunnel, forebay, penstock, turbines…)

- Steady and unsteady flow modeling in HEC-RAS.

- Flood discharge modeling.

- General layout of hydroelectric power plant, general operation of each hydraulic work.

- Estimate cost of machinery with regression analysis models.

- Statistic analysis of confidence and uncertainty assessment of hydrologic data series and flow duration curves.

- Bases of AutoCAD civil 3d for topography design.
