(5/10-1/14) PORT CITY DATA SOLUTIONS, WILMINGTON, NC Point Of Sale Technician/ Project Mgr – Perform software upgrades or install new Point Of Sale systems at petroleum/gas stations. Service area ranges from Maryland to Florida and requires 100 percent travel. Project Manager duties involves ensuring technicians report to their scheduled sites on time and all paperwork and status updates are submitted in a timely fashion; All corresponding data is updated via excel spreadsheet. (7/99-12/99) ATHOL CORPORATION, BUTNER, NC

Industrial Engineer – Time studies, flow charting and work sampling. Worked in the Trim Products Division, which was a facility that cut rolled goods into pieces that was then shipped to the customer. Did a lot of data entry using EXCEL spreadsheet. Discovered major bottlenecks in production including faulty equipment and lack of urgency by employees. Submitted final data to Plant Mgr for proof of findings.

OTHER EXPERIENCE:

(7/13-Present) BLUEWATER GRILL, WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC Bartender – High volume restaurant that emphasizes on fresh seafood. Responsible for preparing custom beverages in a timely fashion for servers and bar guests also. Essential attributes are speed, ability to multitask, people skills and ability to perform under pressure. I am also responsible for training all new bartenders. In addition to these duties, we also host wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners and other functions in our upstairs dining room.

Currently the highest per person volume restaurant in the area which demands an enjoyable visit to ensure the guests’ return. Also train new servers and bartenders in an effort to guarantee that they will become efficient at their job as a cheesecake factory employee once they complete the training program.

(1995 – 2003) OH BRIANS, RALEIGH, NC

Server/Bartender/Asst Manager – As a part of the management team, helped in day to day operations of the restaurant. Some of these duties included ensuring excellent customer service to all guests, making sure all servers/bartenders checkouts were correct, overseeing all food and liquor costs and validating the safe and deposits. This was my first job in management. It required a level of supervision of individuals as well as different departments to ensure that the restaurant ran efficiently as a whole. I was a manager here for 3 years.
