Operations Manager 2014 to present

Functional responsibility for all procurement, manufacturing and distribution activities, the position is directly responsible for the developing and overseeing strategic and tactical plans that meet the divisional and corporate objectives for profitability, cost control, product quality, compliance, employee development and customer service.

Preform capacity analysis of resources.

Maintain the measurement of machine utilization and efficiency for improved product throughput.

Responsible for the planning, scheduling and output of 120 hourly and salaried employees in a two shift union production environment. The RF Department produces command control transmitters and receivers for commercial and military avionics application.

Improve acceptance yields of product by over 15% by developing an SPC system to monitor assembly defects by product type and operation.

Developed outsources for assembly of a new series of amplifiers, enabling the departments output to increase by 25%.

Responsible for the day-to-day operation and production output of 60 employees in a custom microwave electronics house. Products included RF switches, up and down converters for SatCom applications, phase shifters and oscillators for commercial and military applications.

Responsible for the creation and development of all assembly, manufacturing, purchasing and quality systems and processes for the manufacture of lumped element signal processing components in this start up company.
