Wrote a grant sending fifteen students and two teachers on a student exchange to The Republic of Georgia for three weeks. 15 students and 2 teachers from The republic of Georgia came to Lowell High School for three weeks. The exchange was paid through the grant that was for three weeks each of three years.

Lowell High School Foreign Exchange Program April 1997 – May 1999. Wrote a grant that sent 15 students and another teacher to the Republic of Georgia on a student exchange for three weeks at no charge to the students. This became an opportunity for each participant to experience life in a different part of the world and different life style following the break up of the Soviet Union. After our visit the grant covered the cost of 15 students and 2 teachers from Georgia to come to Lowell for three weeks.
