TRAINING:

Six weeks training in VLSI Design (VHDL) at Advanced Technologies Lab, Chandigarh.

Six weeks training in RTL Design at DKOP Labs, Noida.

PROJECTS:

Title : CAM based packet switched network

Platform : RTL Coding (Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL)

Description : This project focuses on implementing a simplex packet switched network that transfers data packets between different

nodes based on destination address. Nodes consist of a packet transmitter as well as a packet receiver. Packets are

switched via a network switch. The major components of switch are content addressable memory, better known as CAM

and a CAM controller or arbiter which is based on least recently used (LRU) algorithm. The switch dynamically updates

its CAM table with node addresses.

Title : Interfacing PS2 keyboard with VGA display driver controller

Platform : VLSI Design

Description : This project aimed at interfacing a PS2 keyboard with VGA display driver controller to develop a real time system that

can take user input at run time. The direction of square ball on screen as well as its colour can be controlled by user

through keyboard. The whole system was built around FPGA Spartan 3 board developed by Digilent.

Title : Design and implementation of VGA display driver controller

Platform : VLSI Design

Description : The project aimed at controlling the VGA display on screen.Developed a square ball that keeps track of boundaries of

screen and changes its direction accordingly. The ball also changes its colour after several frames have passed. The

project was implemented on FPGA Spartan 3 that was embedded on digilent board.

Got 1st prize in Vedic Quiz Contest at Police D.A.V School, Ambala City.

Got 2nd prize in National Quiz Contest organized by Dainik Bhaskar.

GATE 2015 qualified.
