Summary:

I split my time with the largest security company in North America between three different job titles: Technical Writer, Instructional Designer, and Content Developer. I write, edit, and update 10,000 pages of training chapters that are housed on our SharePoint site and backed up on shared drives. I analyze new software and new processes, then recommend a training solution and timeline. I create interactive training videos Web Based Training (WBT) in Adobe Captivate 6 and Articulate Storyline 2 and load them onto our Learning Management System (LMS) Cornerstone On Demand (CSOD). In addition to attention to detail, quick learning, and flexibility, I use my background in training and counseling to easily identify with the perspectives of multiple interactive departments with competing priorities and come up with the best training solution for each situation.

Researched, created and updated web-based training modules, large technical training documents, practice scenarios, tests, answer keys, curricula, course maps, and SharePoint libraries. Collaborated with process specialists, business leaders, subject matter experts, and front-line agents to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of training materials across multiple media. Performed Train-The-Trainer (T3) sessions when new processes, procedures, or products were launched.
