Accomplishments:

Researched, purchased and installed a new driver training system. This new system has the ability to expand the current business line to include not only testing for drivers but will also allow rehabilitation of clients wanting to drive again.

Designed a training module for all staff that will use a computer. I am currently working with HR to have computer orientation included in the new employee orientation. The issue that I am seeing is that new employees know how to use the systems, but do not know what they are allowed to do.

Designed a Power Point template for anyone to use who needs to create presentations. This template has multiple slides with the Mclean logo in a variety of configurations.

Combined all logon scripts to one universal that encompasses the required drives for some of the software systems and a standard share for everyone to use. The security on this share is done at the individual folder level.

Create sensory DVD’s for some of the residents in the memory care wing. I was given the patients history and likes and created a DVD with photos and music for the care givers to play when the person becomes agitated. This has a calming effect on them. Each DVD is 30 minutes long and is catered to each person.

Revised the computer request forms to make it easier to complete and included the current required information.

Created all documentation for each of our 2 e-mail migrations. Tested out multiple systems, trained all users, and created training documents for each system.

Worked closely with department heads to create 3 year projections for technology needs

Migrated and cleaned data in Ultracare created all of the training documents and trained all of the staff.

Implemented, created documentation, and trained all staff for the DayKare software.

Worked with the HR Department to incorporate the authorization of electronic signature form into the employee record. In CT, the authorization form contains the clinical person’s signature and the state references that form as the valid signature on electronic medical records.

Developed a plan to restrict internet access to only the users that required it for their job. Now that we have more effective anti-virus software and increased bandwidth, this is no longer necessary.

Created a standard screen saver for all Mclean systems, but was presented and rejected over a year ago.
