Broadcast Access délivres video broadcast connectivity over the Openreach fiber network, using recognized video transmission standards to ensure seamless integration with existing video equipment or networks. Circuits can be provided at permanent locations and to mobile Outside Broadcast (OB) units throughout the UK. The Broadcast Access Outside Broadcast (OB) service provides connection between a temporary Outside Broadcast location, such as a sport or Entertainment venue for example, and the CP’s BT Locate or Net Locate facilities in a BT local exchange. Street Access (1GB) product will transport data from a BT exchange to the street cabinet. 1GB Street Access OB product will have Outside Broadcast Ethernet connectivity over fibre which will offer a fixed 1 GB bandwidth. It will comprise of IMC NTE's which will be inside the CP’s Outside Broadcast Van .The Van NTE will be connected with optical patch panel and the ruggedized cable will be connected to the street cabinet. The street cabinet will be connected to IMC NTE's at the exchange end.
