Reported to the Logistics Director and Senior Program Managers of Radar, Reconnaissance, and Acoustic (R2A) Systems (>$250M multi-site business unit); member of US Navy AN/SPS-48 Radar Upgrade Team.
Leadership role: Logistics Program Manager – Defense Surveillance Radar Business (>$90M multi-site business area) and Manager of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Functions – 6 FSE, 2 Technical Writers, 1 Logistics Analyst, and 1 Trainer. Main customer was US Navy AN/SPS-48 Radar upgrade program.
Conducted full Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) and Maintenance Analysis; populated LSA (SLICwave) database. Provided customer with real-time data for supply support, spares, manpower requirements and life cycle costing. Process and database implemented company wide.
Developed a system Technical Integrated Data Environment (TIDE); simplified troubleshooting eliminating Technical Manuals on board ships and reduced the Navy’s training duration.
Negotiated the development and conduction of a new 11 day familiarization course (>$500K)
Developed and scheduled Maintenance Demonstration (M-Demo) of upgraded systems
Tracked all Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) and coordinated upgrades with Navy customer
