Trade finance is here related with import and export of goods across continent, which includes Purchase order Letter of credit, collection and open accounts. The entire process here at J P Morgan is automated using different application, which is again the vendor/Buyer and admin user specific. The back end data entry is taken care by a Citrix based application, which is mainly responsible for payment process. It has a separate application for preparation of Bank docs and non financial docs like SIL, credit / debit advice etc where docs are prepared and generated into PDF which is then sent to data entry application while processing of LC application and then done through OFAC screening and finally they are released. Altogether we have seven applications, which the QA team is responsible for different level of testing.
