I am applying for the open Medical device Representative position that is posted on the Simply Hired website. I currently am employed with MAQUET Canada as a territory manager for Western Ontario. This includes being responsible for selling medical devices and capital equipment for operating rooms and ICU. As well as emergency and labour and delivery. It also includes travel and working closely inservicing staff and surgeons on our products. I am very self driven and work well alone and well as a team player.

I am a Certified Operating Room Nurse as well and have been for 15 years and in good standing. I am also a Resource Nurse for the Orthopedic program currently working casual at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. I have plenty of experience working and teaching in an operating room and side by side with surgeons to which I have established a great working relationship with and in many services including endo/cysto plastics ortho and general gyne vascular ENTsurgery. I am a member of RNAO and have a current BCLS.

This position involves caring for the preoperative and intraoperative patient, scrubbing and circulating for various procedures. As well as organizing surgeries, equipment, communicating with surgeons and sales reps for specialty orthopedic cases.
