Lead Design Engineer (Contract)
• Working part of a technical advisory team set up by Bombardier to assist Shenyang Aircraft Corporation to outfit the Flight Test Vehicles for the CSeries program.
• Concepted and detailed the Instrumented Hydraulic system on the flight test vehicles and the ISTCR
(Instrumented System Test Certification Rig). Other systems included Fuel Inerting, Fuel, ECS.
• Designed and detailed components for experimental ground tests.
• Lead design for all Instrumentation Installations on the flight test vehicles. Provided insight in design, ease of manufacturability and installation to a team of designers.
• Liaised with suppliers and methods on design and procurement of components. Components included tubing, weldments, machined and sheet metal parts.
