FAA Ground School Certified

Student Member of Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVE:

To become a Certified Flight Instructor/Trainer and fly as a Commercial Airline Pilot. CURRENT OBJECTIVE:

I’m currently seeking full time employment in the field of aviation, aviation management, and/or fleet/airline/aviation support staff responsibilities, with the potential for growth and development. To Whom It May Concern:

I’m seeking employment in consideration for a fleet operation, aviation, aviation management, fleet management or airline support staff position. I’m currently enrolled as a student at Sky Safety Inc., Flight School at the Stinson Municipal Airport in San Antonio, and recently gained my Ground School Certification, and moving on to the Private Pilot Course. Our curriculum at the flight school has covered Airport Operations, and associated duties, FAA regulations, Flight Plans, and Air Traffic Control procedures, and daily airport/airfield operations. My Pilot education goal is to complete my flight training at Sky Safety, Inc., and continue with the Aviation Technology Program in Professional Pilot at Palo Alto College, ultimately transferring to Texas A&M University at San Antonio for my Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Science/Aviation Management. I’ve been interested in the field of aviation since I was 8 years old; standing on the airfield looking at Air Force One in awe. (My home was on the flight path to Andrews Air Force Base.) I was born in Hawaii; when my Mother was a Sergeant in the Army, and I’ve been traveling by airplanes since I was 2 months old. I’m very eager to learn new responsibilities in the aviation field, which also offer experience in airline support staff duties. To achieve my ultimate goal, of becoming a licensed Commercial Airline Pilot requires not less than six figures to complete; and I’m willing to work in any airline, aviation or fleet management capacity, to achieve my ultimate goal. I have many years of supervisory, managerial and customer service experience. My most recent supervisory experience was with Miller’s Ale House/Restaurant; starting out as a waiter with no wait staff experience, and rising to Service Manager in less than one year. Such rapid position progression and promotion with Miller’s management hierarchy had never been previously accomplished by someone with as little experience that I had when first hired. This speaks to my commitment as a valued employee, to learn new tasks and achieve excellence in staff position assignments. I excel at learning new and challenging tasks, and I’m excited to enter a new area of employment with the field of aviation, with pilot responsibilities, and to reach my ultimate goal of becoming a commercial airline pilot. As I live, eat and sleep airplanes and aviation management, I will be committed to your organization now and in the coming years, as an honest, loyal and dedicated staff member. I’m a professional, meticulous, attention to detail, ambitious, born orator, and gregarious individual. I love to work and take great pride in the work that I do. I enjoy teaching and instructing individuals. I enjoy working with a group or as a team member. When necessary I’m able to supervise my peers and subordinates. I anxiously wait to hear from your H/R department; offering me a position, and requesting a job interview. Sincerely,

Joey Broussard
