Completed Talon IV robotics repair training. Managed and oversaw installation and repair of Sand Dog platform at various bases. Coordinated travel and movement to every site ensuring 96 percent operational readiness and preventive monthly checks and services were completed. Maintained logistical parts container with more than 100 repair and PM parts in order to maintain high operational ready rate. Prepared and submitted daily reports. Field Service Manager, Afghanistan/Kuwait, 03/2012 – 10/2012

Managed Regional Command South and West for three different types of “Backscatter” x-ray equipment used for scanning civilian vehicles and personnel entering military bases. Field Service Engineer, Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, 03/2011 – 03/2012

Conducted training for military units on proper operation of personnel and vehicle x-ray systems at 26 locations and supervised 9 technicians. Conducted preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on Mercedes Benz diesel engine chassis, x-ray electronics, diesel generators and air condition and heating units. Maintained 14 x-ray systems during period of limited personnel. Maintenance/Logistics Manager, Camp Lejeune, NC, 09/2004 – 09/2008

Managed and implemented procedures for maintenance, property/inventory management, storage management, equipment procurement, storage, distribution, transportation, utilization and disposal of $10 million of military equipment. Supervised 200 personnel and oversaw an annual budget of $300,000 for purchase of supplies to accomplish the mission. Managed the readiness, security and inventory of $6 million in armed assets. Supervised quality assurance program and procurement of replacement parts. Monitored shop safety and hazardous material procedures for storage and disposal. Maintained annual training standards for 200 personnel in 12 different job specialties to ensure required standards were accomplished. While forward deployed supervised 120 technicians. Diesel Engine Shop Manager/Quality Control Manager, Camp Lejeune, NC, 10/2003 – 09/1999

Implemented solid quality control procedures during initial inspection phase of maintenance reducing numbers requiring complete rebuild. Prioritized engines requiring rebuild using vacuum and compression gauges, dwell meters and tachometers. Supervised and trained personnel in completing of 78 Cummins engine rebuilds with first time pass rate of 95 percent. Made process improvements improving productivity positively.
