I am appointed on 12th December as a Access Network Engineer in Hillcrest solutions Pvt Ltd. My Job responsibilities to provided the O & M services to Wateen and PTCL for manage and maintain triple play services (Voice, Data, IPTV) as per agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) in center region.Ensuring smooth and uninterrupted network design for MSAN & DSALAM and GPON.As a Access Network Engineer my responsibility to control the faults and rectification with in KPI.GPON (MA-5680T, MA-5603T), MSAN (UA-5000) & DSALAM (MA-5606, MA-5600, MA-5616, MA-5603) GPON (MA-5680T, MA5603T, MA5600T) troubleshooting and ensure the connectivity for BMS server. In GPON, MSAN & DSALAM rectification of faults from Access node to MDF.

WATEEN GPON project:

Patch up gradation and version up gradation of Five OLTs in Wateen GPON projects installed in Lahore Multan and karchi.

PTCL MSAN project:

Responsible for all Access Networks Maintenance under Warranty and for all Operation & Maintenance activities.

Routine maintenance is to detect and remove latent faults during device running and to collect data for analyzing and optimizing networks.

Replacing the part when a certain part of the faulty device needs to be repaired or upgraded

Generated route cause analysis report for fault description software version and rectification the expected solution for higher management.

UA-5000 fault Rectification of all C1 region sites.

Rectification of Access Network issue including triple play services.

Troubleshooting on BMS for provided the solution of internal and External Alarms.

Add the NE’s and remotely configuration and up gradation.

Troubleshooting on E1s.

For monitoring the NE’s through BMS server & client license and patch up gradation.

Share the NE inspection report with customer and remove all major miner and warning.

PTCL DSLAM project:

During troubleshooting, keep detailed records of each operation and the related result. The manage details reports of the troubleshooting process serve as a ground to apply for Huawei technical support, which shortens the troubleshooting time.

Job Description:

On 22nd December I was appointed as a NOC Executive Engineer in Wateen Telecom HFC NOC. I was assigned the responsibilities to monitor, manage and maintain triple play services for HFC/GPON network at Virtual HUB as per standard KPIs and QoS parameters set-in. Triple play services include. Ensuring smooth and uninterrupted triple play services at all times complying to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).

HFC project:

Working on HFC equipment as a NOC Executive.

Trouble shooting on Prisma 2 optical networks.

Maintain the optical out put from transmitter install in prisma chases and make sure the availability of Maximum power level from hub to node.

Monitoring the CMTs system for provided the internet services and remove congestion for customer and HEDA transmitter and amplifier for video services.

Monitoring the CMTS through PRTG and band width gages.

Troubleshooting of nodes when SNR decrease and transmit power of modem increase.
