Goodyear India Limited (July 2014 to Date

One of the most reputed and 3rd largest Tyre manufacturers globally.

Designation /Place in the Organization : Director manufacturing reporting to Vice Chairman and MD in India and functionally to the VP manufacturing Asia Pacific responsible for manufacturing operations of Goodyear’s Ballabhgarh unit.

Key Achievements:

Evolved mitigation business strategy and developed manufacturing capability for commercial and grader tyres to commercialize within 6 weeks to mitigate the impact of slowdown in farm business and exceeded the Profitability and Cashflow targets – two key KPIs for the business.

Quickly understood and became operational with Goodyear systems and processes in various aspects.

Led the Collective Bargaining process with the unions and closed the tripartite agreement without any significant disruptions maintining continuity of supply from the unit.

One of India’s largest and state of art Tyre manufacturing facility for truck and bus tyres, LCV, 2/3 wheelers, Tractors, tubes and other accessories employing > 5000 permanent workmen, 900 Managers & Staff plus approx. 1500 indirect labour. CurrenTurnover of plant ~ Rs. 3000 Cr ( at full capacity > Rs 5000 Cr)

Role & Responsibility:

Key Achievements:
