Job Summary:
Responsible for various types of testing as well as creating mobile application. This position will also be responsible for the software/web testing, evaluation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
User Acceptance Testing – I play the role of an end user and use all the features of a mobile application and web application to ensure correct behaviour.
Problem Reporting – There’s a given test script in which I log the actual result of the application being tested.
I am assigned also to communicate to our third party developer to show them the unintended defects I have found. After they fixed it, I will update the created test script and do the iteration for testing.
Mobile Application Testing – As tester, we are using different mobiles to check whether the mobile Operating System (Symbian, Bada, Ios and Windows) will works properly for the end-user.
Web-based Testing – we are checking the bank transaction and its functionality thru website.

Job Summary:
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst is a member of the Software Development
Department, and reports directly to the Development Director. As a Software Quality
Assurance Analyst, you are tasked to test and execute system features,
documentation, and flow as required by the end-user/s. You will execute performance
and system functionality tests as instructed by your superior and ensure these are
performed as scheduled. You will also document all test cases and test data, conduct
system checks, and monitor bugs in the system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Test Plan Implementation – I am assigned to do the detailed test procedure and tells all about what to test for the daily checking and maintenance of our system.
This test plan implementation is not only for the maintenance but also for the new project. All projects were the add-ons of our existing system. I am creating the test plan for it to describe the scope and focus in the context of our testing.
Test Script Creation – After creating the test plan, my immediate head will provide the documents of my assigned project for Quality testing. Based on the given documents, I’m the one who create the test script. I provide a set conditions and detailed test procedure which my co-tester and I will determine whether our system under test satisfies the requirements or the system works correctly.
Regression Testing – This is my daily tasks to ensure that the changes from the developer are not affecting the unchanged part. This is to ensure that there will be no error found after the application or resolved issue goes into production.
Bug Reporting - We are using JIRA where I log all the bugs I have found during the regression testing.
Defect Monitoring and Manual Testing – I am checking and isolating the defects found from our reseller (Beta Testing), they are the one who are using our system, this is a web based system where they create their proposal for the maintenance of their website. Every day I need to check the mails and replicate the issues they found and once it was replicated I will log it into our Bug Tracker the JIRA. Thru email the reseller also sends their feedback and suggestion and we need to verify it from our immediate supervisor if we will consider it for future release of our system.
Web-based Testing – since our system is a web-based, we checked the browser compatibility (cross browsing check), the alignment and the overall UI of it.
