Compliance:
Ensures entire line, including self, is up to date with training requirements
Notifies others when documents are updated, voluntarily prints document updates for the production line
Checks preventative maintenance/calibration dates on equipment & tooling prior to performing work.
Very attentive to following documentation to ensure compliance is always maintained.
Never leaves work unfinished
Assists others with quality concerns. Does not compromise quality for quantity.
Flexible and works to achieve production line goals:
Takes ownership of build requirements to achieve the scheduled goal
Voluntarily works when overtime is needed and follows through with the unwanted tasks such as coming in early to start up equipment.
Volunteers to cross train to multiple production stations
Works with a variety of small machines to manufacture product, such as packaging sealers, hot stamp machine, snap assembly machine, Dukane welder, vacuum/pressure test equipment, molding equipment, among others.

Performs inventory maintenance transactions, in SAP inventory tracking system

Assists Lead Production Operator with production scheduling and lot completion activities, such as taking inventory to boxing, transacting completed Finished Goods lots into inventory SAP system and performs review of the lot record
Accomplishments/Implemented Cost Improvements:
Voluntarily assists to troubleshoot potential non-compliances with Engineering
Implemented improvement ideas:
oRotator snap assembly/epoxy process - Worked with Engineering to rearrange the line so the snap assembly machine and the epoxy process are in close proximity to reduce steps taken between processes, improve efficiency
oPackage labeling final inspection – Worked with Engineering to add an inspection for contamination, package seal quality and missing components as this station periodically found these types of defects
oInflation device assembly line – Worked with Industrial Engineer to improve the line spacing. Current equipment used an ergonomic arm however this required 30inches of clearance, this space was not available, suggested to use a tool balancer to allow more work space.
