Project: Inventory Control and Electronic Data Interchange
As Quality Assurance Analyst, I was involved in the testing of the Inventory Control and Electronic Data Interchange project, which involved provisioning of support for test automation of the application under testing. My responsibilities included:
Analyzing system specifications and developing system test plans including test procedures and test cases, designing and developing test scripts.
Working as a consulting software engineer analyst in the inventory control and electronic data interchange department of Multi-System Support, Inc
Participating in a conversion project to bring a newly acquired division of the company
Conducting integration and testing the system performance and the regression of the client/server application written in MS Visual Basic 5.0 and Oracle 7.3. The system is used to retrieve, view, and update available inventory information from different divisions
Testing the application for regression, integration, business functions, user acceptance, user interface, load, performance, and volume testing
Preparing QA Status Reports, QA Summary Reports, QA Test Logs, Defect Logs and also Preparing weekly progress, and system integration testing reports

Project: System Migration
As Senior System Analyst, I was involved in the migration project from IBM System 36 to IBM Mainframe.
Analyzing System 36 legacy data for mapping into mainframe system using EDI
Creating navigational standards for the existing systems that invokes the appropriate module based on log in information
Maintaining Sales and Accounting system of Coca-Cola Bottling company
Developing statistical sales reports in COBOL
Creating sort utilities for receiving sales file information from various locations and transporting to the master file and data migration from system 36 to mainframe
