EXPERIENCE:

JANUARY 17, 2014 TO PRESENT: TIRE BUILDER (TITAN TIRE CORPORATION, DES MOINES, IOWA) Also worked before from OCTOBER, 2004 TO MAY, 2007:

Worked in a mill room where we mixed chemicals to make tires, my line was assigned to build tires for tractors. Had to be able read and understand first piece check for each carcass build, requirement and specification of each tire double checked to insure quality.

JUNE 6, 2007 TO DECEMBER, 2012: TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR (GUNZE PLASTICS AND ENGINEERING OLATHE, KANSAS) PROMOTED TO ASSISTANT PRODUCTION LEADER ON DECEMBER, 2012 TO JANUARY 5, 2014.

Start in Extrusion and Rewind: My line was assigned to check late flag of the film before and after heating tower. Exchange air on tube film soon as film start to shrink or any scratches to insure quality. Do die lip clean at air exchanges, change overs to different sizes requested followed by its specifications. Then rewind rolls after they come of extrusion followed by different specs from rewind which usually requires powder and anti- static.

June 6, 2007 Slitter Operator: Where I was assigned to slice the plastic down to the sizes that meet company standards, size changes to machine, quality checks to ensure quality standards are met, splicing the rolls and checking for defects. Also, ran winder and second slitter to rerun damaged rolls or cut down to smaller sizes.

November, 2008 Trainer: my line was to train new operators how to run slitter and winder. We used basic ideas for improvement by training a talented person for short term. New installed machine would be shown to me along with management then explained and shown to operators how to operate.

December, 2010: Promoted to Assistant Supervisor where my line was to learn how to run flat film line from panel room by adjusting thickness to insure quality of film that meets our standard procedures. Learn machine trouble shooting and held 15 minutes safety meetings before sending operators to work. Supervising twelve employees per shift, responsible for daily reports of machines and routine plant checks throughout the day.

February, 2011: Promoted to Technical Supervisor where I was training new assistants to become supervisors. Training on assembly and disassemble of gear pumps, feeder blocks, adapter pipes, flanges, screws, and cylinders cleaning. Be able to start, run, and shutdown machine, check raw material formulas, replace breaker plates, check all electronic connections before start up.

December, 2012: Promoted to Assistant Production Leader To supervise Technical Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, Lead Operators, and Operators in Flat Film making sure they are following the Standard Work Procedures as set by GPA management and QA. Make efficient production schedule for extrusion and slit. To be able to come to the plant 24/7 in case of emergency to solve problems even on the night shift or holidays.

OCTOBER, 2001 TO AUGUST, 2004: SETUP MAN AND TECH A (FIESTA GAS GRILLS DICKSON, TENNESSEE)

I start working as a Press Operator, learned robot spot welding, bent leg machines, spray painting machines, assembly, and packaging.

February, 2003: Promoted to SETUP MAN my responsibility was to set up the machines before we start production, operate heavy machinery, and maintain inventory. Then moved up to TECH A where I was responsible for small mechanical repairs. Changing out blades and pins on presses, adjusting cylinders, adding oil and lubes as needed, make sure all the safety sensors and breaks are in working condition for our safety. Any major machine problems had to assist our maintenance team and learn along as repair had to be made.
