Monitor NTEI Part Order timing and delivery
Report NTEI Tooling status
Identify and escalate NTEI issues where they may affect prototype build starts
Identify critical information concerning part delivery risks.
Assist in electronic tool development for tracking, if required.
Additional responsibilities:
Verify tool kickoff and release date milestones are met; work with cross
functional support to address open issues with tools that will delay MRD
Verify 'P' Authority milestone dates for VP Build parts are met; develop
containment plan with cross functional team to address any potential delays
Verify part order milestone is met; work with cross functional team to address
any issues
Categorize parts by attribute to better define specific milestones & potential
delays to MRD
Verify DPA checks for NTEI parts are complete
Utilize part/tool tracking database to identify parts and tools that will not meet
specific milestones
Continuously update Part/Tool Availability spreadsheet and follow up on
containment plan issues.
Attend key PMT meetings to work effectively with functional team.
Provide weekly part status report to Global Prototype Planning team.
Escalate all issues that may jeopardize MRD.
Identify critical information concerning part delivery risks.
Follow Tiered Prototype Parts Management guidelines.
Pursue responses in the form of Promise Dates and/or Red Borders.
Download and run PTR, Shortage, Red Border and Impound Reports.
Attend Key Ford Meetings (PTR, Shortage and Red Border).
Provide updates on part shortages and orders with open promise dates.
As necessary, obtain the Proof of Delivery (POD) for any requested shipments.
Follow parts from order to delivery using Excel’s system, Agile Connect, for
International Parts into North America.
Invite suppliers into the above Key Mtgs.
Escalate all issues with non-responsive suppliers as necessary.
Assist team with binning open Red Border items and assigning issue ownership.
Contact the suppliers to clear impounded shipments.
Use an electronic system (The MLA Application) to provide follow-up comments regarding order status and promise dates
