Experienced at setting up, programming and operating 3, 4 and 5 axis horizontal and vertical machining centers, grinders and lathes with multiple parts and fixtures.

Experienced in machining castings, aluminum alloys and difficult to machine steel alloys

Familiar with manual programming of CNC machines using G & M codes and conversational language on Mazak, Fadal, Haas, Okuma, Mitsubishi, Mori Seiki and Star machines.

Ability to create product drawings and produce CNC programs using AutoCAD, Solid Works, Master Cam and Gibbs Cam.

Knowledgeable in collecting, organizing, analyzing and interpreting data using SPC for making manufacturing decisions.

Experienced in the use of manual measuring instruments, CMM and optical comparators.

Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts.

Possess excellent written, verbal and technical communication skills.

CNC Machinist – Programmed, set-up and operated Haas vertical machining centers, Mitsubishi EDM machines and Star grinding machines. Operated manual O.D. Grinding machines.
