Provides technical and administrative direction to Project Managers and staff. Develops and manages business in

environmental health, safety and industrial hygiene, including work with private and public sector clients. Provide

direction for work site inspections, sample collection and analysis for compliance determinations, preparation of

written compliance programs, design and monitoring of abatement actions for hazardous materials, and

development and presentation of training programs.

United States Navy - Deputy Chief of Staff for Safety & Environmental Protection, Board of Inspection and Survey (2011–2015).

Recruited, trained, developed and lead a team of eight public health professionals to inspect and improve Safety, Environmental Protection, Ventilation and Medical equipment readiness and program effectiveness for all U.S. Navy Warships and Military Sealift Command Ships worldwide.

Lead the Navy’s Premier Inspectors to assess safety equipment and program effectiveness for Gas Free Engineering, Electrical Safety, Lock-Out Tag-Out, Hearing & Sight Conservation, Heat Stress, HAZMAT Control & Management, Asbestos & Lead Medical Surveillance, Respiratory Protection Programs and Personal Protective Equipment.

United States Navy - CBRE Fellowship, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Headquarters, National Planning & Preparedness Division (2009–2011).

Successfully completed the Chemical, Biological, Radiation and Explosives EPA Fellowship. Developed, implemented, trained and managed the occupational safety and health policy and programs established to protect and preserve the health and safety of EPA’s On-Scene Coordinators and first responders to the nation’s natural disasters, terrorist attacks and all aspects of emergency preparedness.

Deepwater Horizon. In the role of EPA’s Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Response Safety Officer successfully provided over 200 personnel and contractors with Occupational Safety & Health Program Support and requirements. Development EPA’s Site Health and Safety Plan (HASP), conducted site inspections, hazard awareness training and mishap investigations.

Operation Tomodachi. Deployed to Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan to augment their Public Health Directorate’s efforts to support Operation Tomodachi with radiation exposure assessment, medical surveillance and Risk Communication Plans in response of the Fuchishima Nuclear Disaster as a result of the earthquake and tsunami damage.

United States Navy - Safety Department Head, South Central Regional Maintenance Center (2007–2009). Lead the development, management and compliance of the Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Protection Program for heavy, industrial ship maintenance and repair facility encompassing over 300 Department of the Navy personnel.

Directly supervised and lead one civilian and three enlisted personnel in the managing all aspects of the on and off-duty safety and environmental programs.

Developed and implemented comprehensive “Safety Pro Program” maximizing the Safety IQ of all employees by duplicating the knowledge of the core Safety Personnel to every employee arming them with the knowledge and skills essential to identify hazards, assess risk and implement controls, conduct mishap investigations and deliberate risk assessments.
