Project: Space Geospatial desktop application

Part of a team that develops a geospatial and land survey application using Core Java. This application helps build digital maps, store the data in databases or files, retrieve, search, sort and organize the data in a meaningful way, backup data, translate data between various file formats, print reports and maps. Roles & Responsibilities:

● Involved in Design, Development, and Deployment of the application.

● Worked on Search, Sort, Import/Export data from/into various formats such as DXF, KML, Shape, DBF, CSV, GML, MBTiles, TMS layers.

● Developed user interfaces using Swing and XML.

● Implemented a multi threaded data backup system.

● Implemented a module for printing reports, maps.

● Implemented an installer for the application for Windows 7.
