My second (current) assignment is as a “contract analyst” on the revenue cycle management team working on a large project involving converting contracted payers to electronic payments. This has been a two-year assignment. I have been the primary manager for converting the Dept of Labor contract to electronic payments, which is a complicated process involving over 700 clinics. I have also been responsible for researching and approving pay source requests from field clinic managers.

For the first year of my employment, I served as receptionist. I handled fifteen incoming phone lines on three separate phones. The phone system has the ability to park up to forty calls at one time. I also sorted, distributed and filed drug testing results, managed all incoming and outgoing priority mail and Federal Express packages and managed retrieval requests for off-site storage. From August of 2000 until 2004, I worked as an accounts payable clerk. I was responsible for sorting, distributing, verifying and entering all invoices into the system. My duties also included managing all check runs, identifying and resolving billing discrepancies, maintaining accounts payable files, managing month-end and year-end closing, answering questions regarding billing procedures and payments for clients and collection sites, and assisting with accounts receivable as requested.
