My main job is Receptionist. I check parents in, students out, and keep the students computer legal alerts updated. I also am in charge of keeping parts in stock for the copy machines and that they were always up and running. I independently setup and run 2 Scholastic bookfairs a year, handling the revenue, ordering stock as needed, collected Box Tops for Education, and Pop Tops for the Ronald McDonald House, processing them twice a year, as my personal contribution to the school, earning $2600 to $3000 for the school, along with my regular duties.Along with answering the phone calls handling Parents and anything else that is needed for the Counselor and Assistant Principal, including computer work, usually Microsoft Word, Publisher, and Excel. Previously before moving into the receptionist position, I worked with Special Ed for 3 years, and ran a computer lab for 2 years, and taught Art. For the last 3 years I have also been in charge of keeping our school Website up to date, and facilitated all school call outs as needed.
