Human Resources & Accountant Officer (Temporary contract) March 2014 – May 2014

Duties:

Update the staff records, preparing contracts and control contract renewal.

Keep a chart of Start and end-of-contract dates for the base’s employees and transmit to the Head office.

Assist with the set-up and follow-up of general contracts (houses, cars, insurance etc.)

Arrange the travel needs of expatriates: Hotel, visas, transportation.

Maintain filing of expatriate and national staff documents.

Conduct HR & Admin orientation for new employees.

Handle petty cash, Make payments and do bank transactions.

Prepare the monthly accountancy documentation, importing into the SAGA system (oracle software) the required information.

Verify the accuracy, validity, legitimacy of all payments completeness of financial documents, (purchase requests, work orders, proforma invoices), proper coding and approval by responsible managers before payments are made.

Manage and properly archive the proof of expenditures (codifying invoices, allocations, stamps and placing in files).

Ensure all compliances with social security, NRT and VAT obligations are done in time.

Inform the logistics department of data required on the invoices.
