Independent Consultant 2013 – 2013 Development Manager Citibank
Headed program development for quarterly release. This was a new system that was to replace 5 other redundant systems to allow users to get entitlements for all products they have signed up for.
Part of the enhancements was hooking the system to OFAC which checked for suspicious customers. Worked on automation of customers from other systems to present system.
Managed developers from Ireland, offshore, offshore/onshore. Had early morning meetings with Ireland and India and evening meetings with onshore to get statuses for project plans.

Datasoft 2009 – 2012
Application Manager
Managed application development for a startup fixed income security company and instituted project management tools for development and to bring new companies into the system faster.
The system was written in smalltalk with an Oracle database as a repository for the data.
The application handles government, mortgaged backed, futures, options, and derivative securities and takes contracts from data entry to settlement to R&D
The system is hooked up to DTCC, GSCC, and Bloomberg through MQ Series using Swift messaging.
Managed interface with Bloomberg’s TOMS system, Stock Record and 15C3-3 reporting, TBA allocation for mortgage backed securities, automatic generation of email confirm when trade is entered and sales credit capture.
Bank of New York Mellon 1999 – 2009
Project Manager
Managed day to day problem management and events 24/7 for back office and front end trading.
Reduced batch cycle by 6 hours by redefining the nightly batch schedule.
Managed the integration of Bank of New York Stock Transfer into Mellon’s Stock Transfer database. This included adding to the database 2000 companies and 20 million shareholders over a ten month period.
oReceived financial recognition reward for merging the Bank of New York and Mellon shareholders as one company in a short period of time.
Participated in rules committee for SDLC certification in level 2 and level 3.

In 1989 a group of 5 was formed to reanalyze, rewrite and downsize the trading system due to redundancy and multiple failures, It was successful launched in 1991.
