Worked on a cost effective project on development of Refrigeration System based on Vapour Adsorption system which eliminates the use of compressor and pump. o After experimentally studying the behavior of adsorbent – adsorbate pair and rate of adsorption and desorption, developed an adsorber unit which substitutes the use of compressor in VCR system. o This device can be made more cost efficient by use of solar power.
