At St. Rita’s Medical Center I worked with Finance and senior leadership to strategize annual marketing initiatives to be promoted internally and externally. Utilizing an outside consulting agency these priorities came to life with comprehensive marketing materials for a variety of venues. Additionally I was responsible for both internal and external communications. Collaborating with Administration, I synthesized high level initiatives to prepare internal Management Team messaging, the employee newsletter, construction updates, Human Resources programs and the Medical Center’s internal patient safety campaign. I generated news releases to promote activities at the Medical Center while also responding to all requests for information and interviews from internal sources at all levels.

Additionally I worked with mid-level service line managers to develop and implement specific marketing plans for programs and services. I served as the internal resource to create effective action plans to reach the intended target audiences as well as create all necessary collateral materials from start to finish.

As a media sales consultant with Time Warner Cable, I strategized with local business owners on their areas of opportunity and the differentiating factors that gave them an edge over their competition. Acting as an adjunct agency for these businesses, I utilized the portfolio of media services available through Time Warner Cable to create and present marketing campaigns designed to specifically advance the client’s business goals. This position was metrics driven and required a strategic approach to every client in order to reach their goals and the financial goals of Time Warner Cable.

My career began in a communications role and has evolved to be sales driven. As every industry becomes even more competitive and results driven, I believe my sales experience has provided valuable insight to working toward measureable results. The need for solid company sales performance underscores the necessity of good communication internally and externally for every employee and department to understand their role in the organization’s master plan.
