Plant Expansion & Enhancement

Actively involved in INDO GERMAN Environment Program of IGEP in coordination with MoEF New Delhi, Gujarat Pollution Control Board, Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre regarding up gradation of CETP’s in India, Technology Selection, Formulating basic document for organisation structure of CETPs in India and legislation for the same, development and up gradation to world class of Industrial Infrastructure (VAPI TO BE VRINDAVAN) and other river clean up mission.

Also developing project on conversion of plastic waste from Paper mill to energy and MSW to energy and biogas to energy, decontamination of packaging material and containers from Chemical Industries, Pre-treatment of incinerable waste to make it suitable for co processing in cement kiln .

Heading the New Projects and Operations of 55 MLD, Asia’s biggest effluent Treatment plant for Chemical Sector Cluster at Vapi and offering guidance for Environment related Projects to Chemical Industry Members in Industrial Estate (more than 800 members).

Project Title : Designing a plant for separation of propane& propylene from 1.0 million t.p.a. catalytic cracked gases, considering energy saving alternatives

Scope : Conducting complete literature survey and finalising route for separation of various streams.

Based on that the basic process, design was worked out with emphasize on energy saving.

P&I Diagram were developed as well as material balance & heat balance & other process calculations equipment sizing and mechanical designing of distillation column & preliminary cost estimates was done on computer having Dec-10 System and Fortran IV Language, under the able guidance of Prof. M.M. Sharma.
