Description:

Educational Testing Service (ETS) is the largest educational testing and assessment organization. It develops various tests primarily in the United States for higher education, and it also administers international tests including the TOEFL, GRE, and Praxis test series.

-TOEFL application system involves designing and implementing a system for handling TOEFL candidates’ registration request received (through web services) from various countries.

-Generate the score report for those candidates and send score report to designated institutes; during these processes many manual and automated tasks are involved.

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Developing new functionality to candidates with releases

-Reducing manual effort by automating the task by using shell scripts, batch jobs

- Involved in writing queries for data retrieval from database

- Develop codes based on user requirements documentation

-Creating reusable solutions and documenting it into files.

-Supporting the offshore team to ensure timely achievement of problem/issues deliverables.

-This included effort and time estimation, issue allocation, remedy incident requirements and managing the progress.
