Technical Delivery Manager – Web Channel (T-Mobile.com, MyTMO.com)

Responsible for the orchestration of testing and preparations of implementation of code deployments to Production environments.

Accountable for stewardship of large, cross functional development and systems integration projects for T-Mobile USA. The Web Apps include T-Mobile.com, MyFamilyMobile, MyT-Mobile.com, eServices (MyTMO Cloud - using Amazon AWS), PCM (Product Catalog Management), Web Products Catalog (WPC), eBill, Epiphany.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Work effectively with Leadership and multiple stakeholders to apply customer relationship management practices, including the identification of appropriate, mutually agreed objectives.

Perform as a lead on large deployments requiring multiple release managers.

Ensure coordination of delivery teams within various domains.

Work with development leads to define code drops and coordinate the alignment of code drop dependencies.

Provide overall development project leadership, and direct project teams in the delivery of high-quality products within committed timeframes.

Coordinate through the development managers all delivery activities and act as the escalation point for all development and build issues specific to projects.

Coordinate with the development teams to ensure the right teams are working on the right build components at the right time, with clear expectations of milestones and goals.

Coordinate and communicate night of deployment status and issues to leadership on planned deployment activity dates.

Identify and coordinate supporting resource(s).

Identify release risks and manage the tasks necessary to mitigate each risk and facilitate issue resolution.

Coordinate and facilitate concise but effective meetings required to ensure deployment readiness and lead issue resolution across the departments and teams.

Develop an in depth knowledge of the existing operational components, systems and application dependencies.

Provide reports and critical detailed timelines to facilitate software planning to all impacted parties.

Microsoft - Redmond, WA 05/11 – 11/13

Program Manager / Vendor manager / SDET – Skype Lync International Team.

Lync Online (a cloud service on Office 365): A complex project involving a team of 500+ people and $2M budget delivering the cloud service for the Lync-Skype team in 50+ languages. My role included the following deliverables:

Managing 6 projects simultaneously in 2-3 week agile sprint releases (Scrum).

Defining localization strategy and milestone criteria for both waterfall and agile projects delivery methodologies.

Mapping the deployment architecture and technology after consultation with the Ops team, especially as it impacts international deliveries.

Managing project forecasts, scoping, and resourcing.

Managing off-shore suppliers, including provision of test plans, schedules, project roadmaps.

Evangelizing world-readiness requirements to feature teams.

Developing and presenting professional presentations on project status and issues to the team and management.

Collaborating and working closely with product teams in India, Prague, China and London.

Recent deliverables:

Drove off-shore localization testing of Lync Online, delivered as part of O15 RTM in October 2012.

It was a complex project due to sim-shipping 40+ language versions.

Simultaneously managed six projects with global cross functional teams.

Following Agile methodology (Scrum) with 2-3 week sprint cycles on Lync Online on 50+ languages.

SDET - Data Access and Information Protection(DAIP) division under BOSG. 07/08 - 05/11

Active Directory Rights Management Services (RMS), is a policy-enforcement technology that enables content protection at file level. I was responsible for:

RMS server deployment as well as functional testing of RMS features like certification and licensing.

Functional testing of ILS(Information Protection Live Services), which was Microsoft’s scalable cloud service offering for information protection.

Program Manager - Consumer PC Group (CPCG) in MPG

Program Manager of the Security Task Force (STF) whose charter was to validate security objectives of Intel products to ensure they meet the agreed upon security objectives.

I did the security evaluation of CPCG products which involved doing Threat Modeling Analysis, identifying high-impact components for security analysis, doing code reviews (C++) and identifying exploitable vulnerabilities in the products
