CAREER EXPERIENCE

2011 to 2015 JSW Steel (USA), Inc.

1/2011 – 2/2015 President and Chief Executive Officer – JSW Steel (USA), Inc. JSW Steel (USA), Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Steel Limited, a fully integrated steel manufacturer based in Mumbai, India. JSW Steel (USA), Inc. consists of a 160” wide discrete Plate Mill with approximately 1.0 million tons of capacity and a 0.5 million ton capacity LSAW Line Pipe Mill capable of manufacturing line pipe from 24” to 48” in diameter. Pipe product end users include major pipeline builders and operators, pipeline distributors and mid-stream developers. Plate consumers include railroad car manufacturers, pressure vessel manufacturers, plate service centers, off-shore platform manufacturers, ship and barge builders as well as utility pole manufacturers.

- Complete P&L responsibility for two distinct, yet integrated manufacturing operations employing around 700 people and achieving approximately $400 million in annual sales, a 125% increase from prior performance. Direct reports include Safety, Environmental, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Commercial Sales and Marketing and Finance and Accounting disciplines.

- Restored the JSW brand within the marketplace by taking the actions necessary to reestablish confidence and trust in the organization’s commitment to quality, delivery and service levels expected by the discrete plate and API line pipe markets.

- Reduced the OSHA Recordable Incident Rate 66% through revised practices and focus.

- Addressed and resolved significant product Quality and customer satisfaction concerns.

- Rebuilt the Sales and Marketing organizations, in both Plate and Pipe products, expanding geographical footprint and market coverage, significantly improving skill sets and professionalism while reestablishing presence in markets of our choosing. Results include record-setting monthly performances in both areas.

- Developed and implemented growth vision both domestically as well as throughout the NAFTA region capitalizing on niche segments as well as unique manufacturing attributes.

2006 – 2010 President and Chief Executive Officer – Alton Steel, Inc. Alton Steel, Inc., certified to ISO-9001-2008, is a single-site, privately-held steel manufacturer focused on carbon steel bar product manufacturing for consumers in both SBQ and MBQ markets. ASI produces bars in a wide range of popular steel grades, diameters and lengths, permitting a high level of personalization and customization. End user markets include forgers, service centers, cold drawers, energy and infrastructure products.

- Complete P&L responsibility for a manufacturing operation having achieved approximately

$290 million in sales and employing 335 people. Direct reports include Safety, Environmental, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Human Relations, Sales and Marketing and Finance disciplines.

- Provided vision, leadership and direction resulted in dramatic improvements in operating performances, yields, product quality and market penetration that yielded record sales dollars and volumes as well as profits during peak market conditions and provided a strong base to sustain the business.

- Developed the existing Sales and Marketing organization by incorporating seven outside sales agencies to significantly expand the depth and breadth of the sales organization.

- Introduced several new product lines while expanding diameter and adding new steel grades.

2003 - 2006 Mittal Steel, USA (ArcelorMittal Long Products, USA) 2003 – 2006 General Manager – Indiana Harbor Bar Products Mittal Steel’s Indiana Harbor Bar Products facility is a single-site steel manufacturer focused on long products manufacturing for specialty markets. IHBP is a leading manufacturer of machining steels with a strong desire to expand it’s presence in markets that build on its core competencies and those of the global corporation.

- Complete P&L responsibility for a manufacturing operation having approximately $400 million in sales and employing 450 employees. Direct reports included Safety, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Technical Service, and Information Technology.

- Worked closely with Sales and Marketing to strengthen the customer portfolio.

- Worked closely with others to orchestrate the successful turn-around of the company.

- Positioned the company for continued improvements and growth substantiated by record profits in 2006.

1997- 2002 Charter Manufacturing, Inc.

2002 Vice President Business Development – Charter Manufacturing An industry leading, third-generation, family-owned manufacturer of specialized, niche metal products with a strong desire to expand it’s presence in markets that build on its core competencies.

- Coordinated and completed due diligence activities, acquiring a former competitor within 60 days.

- Led the team that prepared the sales and operating plans that provided financial justification for the acquisition.
