Universal Pegasus, Intl., Houston, Texas via GAS Engineering

I&E Drafter/Designer: My duties during this short term contract assignment consisted of working with the engineers to create/modify instrumentation/electrical drawings for various large scale pipeline projects throughout Universal Pegasus International (including P66 and Cortez). I was able to obtain the information required to update the I&E drawings via the use of related discipline drawings such as: PFDs/P&IDs, Area Plans, Cable Schedules, Lighting Plans, Engineering comments and redline mark-ups. ABB, Inc., Houston, Texas via Randstad Engineering

Automation Drafter/Designer: During this assignment, I assisted Engineers in the development and modification of automation/electrical diagrams for multiple projects using AutoCAD and MicroStation; maintained the Bill of Materials and Nameplate schedule drawings according to the latest drawing changes/cabinet developments; maintained a spreadsheet to track the overall status of ABB and Client drawing punch list items as provided by the project manager; incorporated any incoming client redline changes to the drawings after review and approval of the assigned project engineers; conducted QC evaluations of cabinets prior to shipment, via comparison against the latest revision of drawings. In addition, when time permitted, my other responsibilities during this assignment consisted of modifying the architectural floor plans of the staging and development warehouse areas (this aided in determining the layout for placement of incoming cabinets to be assembled); modifying office floor plans for project relocations, and creating/requesting nameplates and wire tags.

Drafter/Designer: primary duties consist of assisting the Engineers/Designers in the drafting and editing of Process & Instrumentation Diagrams and Electrical Control Schematics (i.e. P&ID's, PFD's, Isometrics, Single Line Diagrams, Interconnections, PLCs, Relay schematics and Proposal drawings). Other Responsibilities consists of creating and editing spreadsheets and databases to track the status of project drawings, redlines and milestones. Process / CAD Technician duties consist of drafting and editing Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's) using AutoCAD, MicroStation and their support softwares; assisting the Process Manager and Process Engineers with HAZOP setups, documentation, and Pre-HAZOP and Post-HAZOP drafting of drawings; creating and editing spreadsheets and databases to track the status of project drawings and milestones; learning new software applications for various Client and/or Project requirements. Brief experience drafting and editing architectural site plans and floor plans for the 3D International Galena Park School District Project on behalf of CRSS Constructors (a Jacobs subsidiary).

Administrative Assistant to Colonel of the G5 - Psychological Operations Division of the NATO Central Army Group in Heidelberg, Germany. Responsibilities consisted of maintaining the Colonel's appointment schedule, coordinating symposiums and meetings

(booking location, notifying attendees, arranging catering, etc.), making travel/hotel arrangements for G5 officers and typing all correspondence and manuals generated by the division. In addition to these duties, I conducted frequent security checks of all NATO Top Secret documents held by officers within the division.
