First introduction to wireline equipment as a part of Engineering R&D to convert mechanical drive hoist units to hydraulic drive with pneumatic controls. High-pressure hydro-blasting equipment producing 1O,OOO psi water pressure for cutting, stripping and maintenance applications. Also assisted in organizing engineering department and compiling data in computer for standardization on parts list and inventory. Was involved with layouts of power lighting and control systems applicable to new construction and plant expansion. ANDERSON GREENWOOD Houston, Texas

Valve Division - Nuclear Valve layout and detailing for working pressures up to 3,OOO psi, which included seat lifters, hydraulic, and air and mechanical actuators.

Aircraft Division - Was involved with landing gear on Bellanca Aries T-250. Covered framework and hydraulic layout with failsafe back up system, tooling and jig fixtures.

Work included design layout and detailing of high-pressure hydraulic test equipment used for in plant testing of pressure valves (up to 6O,OOO psi). Design included hydraulic and electrical schematics, instrumentation and structural layout.

Design draftsman for "Quick Closure" Test Heads used in hydrostatically testing valves and pipelines ranging from 2" to 48" Alaskan pipeline. Printing Press equipment design and detailing of complete motor drive assemblies and sections including sheet metal structures, casting, gears, sprockets, bearings and drive trains as well as Adjustment Procedures and Installation drawings. Included expediting between engineering, manufacturing, vendors and shipping.
